Banished

Just when I figured out that Green and Kathleen rhyme, the Lake Superior State University folks have come out with their new list of words that should be banished for misuse, overuse and general uselessness.

This list has been in existence since 31 December 1975 and the 34th annual list has some campaign as well as environmental words to be tossed into the banished pile. Bill Rabe started this 34 years ago and if you would like to submit some new words for 2010, visit the website to submit nominations for next year's list, or write banish@lssu.edu.
